The DIVA Bead Project

The Bead Project was created in 2008 as part of the Sisters Circle; Journey to South Africa under the DIVA Foundation with a twofold mission:

(1) to provide a means of support for HIV/AIDS infected and affected women in Africa by purchasing their African crafts directly from the women themselves or from the distributors who practice fair trading; and

(2) to promote HIV/AIDS awareness, education and to showcase the high quality, beautifully unique products of the African artisans in the USA and around the world through exhibits, shows, speaker's bureau and workshops.

When you make a $30 donation to The DIVA Foundation and receive a gift from our bead product line, you will be helping HIV/AIDS infected and affected women and their families in Africa get the basic necessities in life.
